HOW WE HANDLE IT

Data, Security and Account Conduct Under These Terms

Every commitment we make in these Terms is backed by specific internal processes — from how withdrawal requests are verified to how long we keep your transaction history.

Data Storage

Account data — including your UPI handle, Paytm-linked number and transaction history — is stored on encrypted servers. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties outside of regulatory requirements applicable under Indian law.

Cookie Use

We use session cookies to keep your account logged in across the lobby and preference cookies to remember your last payment method — UPI or PhonePe. You can manage cookie settings from your browser; disabling them may affect account functionality.

Account Security

Two-factor authentication is available on every account and we strongly recommend enabling it. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us via live chat immediately and we will freeze the account while the matter is investigated.

Transaction Retention

We retain records of every deposit and withdrawal — including UPI reference numbers and Paytm transaction IDs — for a minimum of five years. You may request a copy of your transaction history at any time through the account settings page.

Account Changes

To update your registered mobile number, email address or linked payment method, submit a request through the Help Centre with identity verification. Changes take effect within 48 hours and a confirmation is sent to your registered email.

Dispute Resolution

Disputes about how a term has been applied to your account must be raised within 30 days of the relevant transaction or decision. We will review the matter, consult the transaction log, and issue a written resolution within five working days.

These Terms apply to every person who opens an account on 49s. Access is available where local law permits, and by creating an account you confirm that you are eligible to do so under the laws of your state or territory in India.

We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, the revised version is published on this page and we send a notification to your registered email address. Continuing to use the account after that notification means you accept the revised Terms.

Deposits made via UPI, Paytm or PhonePe are subject to the transaction rules outlined in the Payments section of these Terms. Each deposit generates a reference ID that we store against your account record for verification and dispute purposes.

After account closure, we retain your transaction records and identity documents for a minimum of five years as required under applicable Indian regulations. You may request a copy of your data before or after closure through the Help Centre.

Submit a change request through the Help Centre, include a copy of your identity document for verification, and specify the field you need corrected. We process most requests within 48 hours and confirm the change by email.

Accounts may be suspended if we detect activity that violates these Terms — including multiple accounts, fraudulent transactions, or misuse of payment methods such as disputed UPI reversals. We notify you by email and explain the next steps.

Contact us via live chat or email within 30 days of the decision. Include your account reference and the specific clause you believe was applied incorrectly. We issue a written resolution within five working days of receiving the complete dispute details.
